Brown Sugar Shortbread Cookies

Ingredients
1 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. white sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. white flour

 Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Cream the butter & sugar
3. Add egg and vanilla
4. Mix in flour
5. Roll dough into walnut size balls
6. Flatten with the bottom of a water glass, or use a cookie stamp to press the cookie down gently. Be sure to keep that cookie at about a 1/3 thickness.
7. Bake for 10 minutes, or until
just starting to brown lightly. Err on the side of underbaked.
